If you miss the popular store bought brownie mix this Gluten Free Brownie Mix Recipe is a must make!
One of the things that I missed the most when I first went gluten free was gluten free brownies.
I almost always prefer homemade over store bought or a box mix. Brownies were the exception.
I loved making brownies from a box mix. That was until I discovered a homemade brownie mix recipe that was as good as the real thing.
I think my recipe for homemade brownie mix originally came from one of my sisters. My family loved the recipe and we made it for years. When I went gluten free, over ten years ago, I knew that it was a recipe that I had to make gluten free.
It took a little bit of work, but I finally got the recipe just right. It is one of my favorite easy gluten free desserts.

Do you use superfine ground white rice flour or regular white rice flour? I find that anything made with brown or white rice flour is grainy feeling. Will the superfine grind work the same? Thanks!
